1. All ties to be played in accordance with the rules as laid down for County Competitions.

 2. All players must be members of the same club and affiliated to Bowls England

3. All players must have reached their sixtieth birthday by May 1st in the year of the competition.

 4.The entry fee will be £8.00 per pair.

 5. The competition will be run on an area basis, where possible, in order to reduce travelling to a minimum.

 6. The challengers and are responsible for all match arrangements. The challengers must offer 3 dates (one must be a Saturday or Sunday) within 21 days of the opening round, thereafter within 48 hours after the closing date of the previous round). The opponents shall within 48 hours of receipt of the challenge reply accepting one of the dates offered. The time for commencing the tie shall be mutually agreed, a draw for the rink to be used will be made by the opponents.

 7. In the event of no decision being reached in a tie owing to exceptional circumstances or weather conditions, inability to arrange or re-arrange a tie before the completion date of the round, a decision must be made by the toss of a coin. No extensions will be given in any round.

 8. Dress will be as laid down in the County Competition By- Laws.

 9. The winner of the tie shall follow instructions on the portal to record their score.
