Teams of 11 players split into:
2wd Singles (21 ends), 4wd Singles (21 shots), Pairs (4wd, 18 ends), Triples (3wd, 18 ends) and Fours (2wd, 18 ends).
1. This competition should be played in line with the National formats set by Bowls England and following the Bowls England Rules and Regulations unless specified below.
2. A point is awarded for each discipline won, with a maximum of 5 available.
3. Failure to field 11 players will result in a walkover to the opposition.
4. The 4wd Singles should follow the 2wd Singles unless mutually agreed. The marker/s will be provided by the Challenger / Home team. The 2wd player is allowed to mark the 4wd Singles and vice versa.
5. Should scores be tied at the end of regulation ends on any discipline (not possible for 4wd Singles) an extra end will be played in that discipline only.
6. All players must be registered to Suffolk County BE. Winning teams found to have fielded ineligible players will be excluded from the next round.
7. Rounds up to and including the Quarter Finals to start at 2:30pm unless mutually agreed otherwise. The Semi-Finals and Final will be played on the same day (i.e morning and afternoon). Semi-Finals and Final will be played in whites on neutral greens selected by the Management Committee.
8. The result should be entered by the WINNING team following the instructions on the Portal, AND a copy/picture of the FULLY COMPLETED result sheet to either be emailed to compsec.suffolkbowlsbe@gmail.com or sent via WhatsApp / Text to 07957 159678.
