Mixed Pairs

Description

4 Bowls. 18 Ends.

1. This competition is to be played in line with the National Mixed Pairs format set by Bowls England and following the Bowls England Rules and Regulations with the following exception - the County version of this event is maintained as 4 Bowl Pairs, where Bowls England have reduced to 3 bowls.
2. Teams shall consist of 1 males and 1 females at all times.
3. Teams can be from a mixture of clubs, however the lead entrant and person making the payment on the portal must be registered to the club nominated as the home green. The club of the person making the entry determines which area the team gets drawn in should entry numbers lead to an area split.
4. All players must be registered to Suffolk County BE. Winning teams found to have fielded ineligible players will be excluded from the next round.
5. Rounds leading up to the Semi Finals will have 'by' dates. The Semis and Final will be on fixed dates alongside the County Domestic Finals.
6. Substitutions should follow BE Rules and Regulations section 50.2.8. Rinks must maintain their mixed element for all games, and only one substitution can be made during the course of the competition year. The players that start the first game become the team.
7. The result should be entered by the WINNING team following the instructions on the Portal, AND a copy/picture of the FULLY COMPLETED scorecard to either be emailed to compsec.suffolkbowlsbe@gmail.com or sent via WhatsApp / Text to 07957 159678.
